Our story

Ava was born and raised in Hattiesburg and enjoys shopping, traveling, attending concerts, crafting, and spending time with friends. She was recently selected as Drum Major at Pearl River Community College, a testament to her leadership and dedication.

Ava plans to attend nursing school and pursue her dream of becoming a labor and delivery nurse. At Dance Fantasy, she manages our social media and helps keep our online presence fresh and engaging. We are so thankful to have her on our team!

Britton grew up in Hattiesburg and loves scrapbooking, traveling, playing pickleball, and spending time with family and friends. She is currently a junior majoring in Accounting and hopes to own her own business one day.

At Dance Fantasy, Britton enjoys reorganizing and decorating the store, helping create a fun and welcoming shopping experience for our customers. You'll also often find her representing Dance Fantasy at one of our pop-up shops throughout the year.

Danie Joseph is from Independence, Louisiana. Danie has been part of our staff for 3 years. Danie has 20 years of dance experience, including 15 years of studio dance in Hammond, and 3 years on the Southern Misses Dance Team at the University of Southern Mississippi where she led the team to a National Championship as Captain in 2025!

Danie will be graduating from USM with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology in December 2026.

Georgia Anne was born in South Mississippi and spent most of her life in Sumrall. A talented singer, she was a member of Sumrall High School's award-winning a cappella group, The Traces of Blue, and later performed with The Voices at Pearl River Community College.

She is currently a junior at BYU–Idaho majoring in Communications. When she's home on break, we're always excited to have her back in the store. Georgia Anne loves helping dancers find everything they need for class, and her fun personality makes her a favorite among customers and staff.

Emy Grace is a senior Elementary Education major from Hammond, Louisiana. She danced for 15 years and was a Dixie Darling at USM during her Freshmen year.

Working at Dance Fantasy has allowed her to stay connected to the dance world. She enjoys watching dancers reach important milestones—from being fitted for their very first ballet shoes to purchasing pointe shoes and celebrating their final recital.

After graduation, Emy Grace plans to be a kindergarten teacher. Outside of Dance Fantasy, you can find her spending time with her Kappa Delta sisters, studying, or enjoying a sweet treat.

Jordan Davis grew up dancing in hattiesburg and is currently a Dance major at the University of Southern Mississippi where she is also in the honors college.

Jordan has been a part of Dance Fantasy for the past three years where she is a favorite with dancers and there parents.

Jordan currently works with Believe Dance Competition and enjoys sharing her passion for dance through performance and mentorship.  

Katy was born and raised in British Columbia, Canada. She met and married an Idaho farm boy who eventually became a professor at the University of Southern Mississippi. Together, they have two amazing daughters and a wonderful son-in-law.

Katy loves Jesus, spending time with her family, and building meaningful relationships with those around her. She enjoys meeting all of the sweet dancers and dance families who visit Dance Fantasy, and we are so grateful to have her as part of our team!
